Zedd and Grey apparently liked working together so much on the Hailee Steinfeld-assisted hit “Starving” that they were in to repeat the magic again.

No new Zedd or Grey album/EP has been announced yet so merely take “The Middle” as a one-off pop banger single for the winter season.
And wow at Maren Morris slaying this song so much. I didn’t know EDM would suit her so well. Who’s in to start a petition for her to ditch country music? ‘Cause girl, the slayage was real in this song. Those vocals, especially in the chorus, is as if she knew she couldn’t let down Zedd and Grey after they produced such an amazing beat for her to sing over.
