Listen To Nicki Minaj's New Song "Sorry" That's NOT On "Queen"!

nicki minaj sorry

Haven’t had enough of Nicki Minaj this week yet? Good, because here’s more for you! hahaha

Just a day after the release of her new album “Queen”, a new song from the female rapper, not included on most recent body of work, was released online. Funkmaster Flex premiered “Sorry” featuring Nas on Hot 97 last night.

Sorry” was the song with the Tracy Chapman sample that almost made Nicki release the “Queen” album on August 17th and not this past Friday, August 10th. Nicki seemingly ultimately opted to discard the track because either the clearance simply was not coming or could it be given even beyond August 17th. And making her fans waiting even more time? HELL NO. But it sucks for Nicki any way… losing a Nas collaboration like that must be infuriating.

Funkmaster Flex did mention last night Nicki “GAVE” him the track to premiere last night. So this must have been Nicki’s only way she had to give her fans this song without getting in a nasty lawsuit with Tracy Chapman’s team.

“Sorry” has some of a Jamaican vibe and it hears Nicki and Nas rapping about a love/hate relationship.
