Zara Larsson Premieres Studio Edit of New Single “So Good” Featuring Ty Dolla Sign: Listen
A week after debuting live in Sweden, Zara Larsson premieres the studio version of her new single “So Good”. A Ty Dolla Sign-assisted collaboration that will be included on the Swedish pop singer’s forthcoming debut international album (via Epic Records).
“So Good” can be streamed using the Spotify player below right now and it will be up on iTunes starting tomorrow Friday.
As expected, there’s not much difference between the live and studio version. Zara’s vocals are exactly the same, the melody is the same, and even the production we hear is exactly the same (her band reproduced it quite nicely last week). The only thing “new” is Ty Dolla Sign’s rap verse in the bridge. Does he “add” to the song? Not really. It could do without him.
REVIEW: “So Good” is the most subdued sound we’ve heard from Zara Larsson after hearing nothing but bangers from her in the last couple of years. It is very Rihanna-a-few-years-ago-esque, cute, radio-friendly, will be probably be a mini-decent hit, but definitely a step forward for Zara it is not.
