The Canadian crooner literally kills his old self in the newly-premiered music video for his brand new single “Starboy” (produced by Daft Punk). The Grant Singer-directed MV dropped at 12 p.m EST today, September 28th, via VEVO.
What else can we see in this video besides the assassination of old The Weeknd? Well, we also see new The Weeknd making a mess of old The Weeknd’s house with his cross-shaped red laser sable and riding one of old The Weeknd’s luxury cars alongside a panther pet. Casual.
"Starboy" will be featured on The Weenkd's new album that drops November 25th.
