The Saturdays - '30 Days' (Music Video!)
The Saturdays have premiered the music video for their new single, the Steve Mac-produced "30 Days" on Thursday (April 5th) via VEVO...Watch above! The British girl-band were forced to push up the video's 'official VEVO debut' to today after MTV UK made a mistake and went on to play the full '30 Days' clip without the authorisation of The Sats' record label. Sucks for the ladies because I'm sure they had a lot of things planned previous the big video premiere, like promotional gigs, tv performances etc, but in the end it's good news for us, the fans, as we can watch the '30 Days' vid now!
'30 Days' is an amazing dance-pop track which features a potent dance beat that builds in tempo as the song progresses to the chorus. Meanwhile, The Saturdays girls sing the heartwarming lyrics about 'being apart from the person you love and counting down the minutes until you're back together'. I said 'amazing' because unlike others who have dubbed the song as 'extremely dull', I find it incredibly good and catchy! The 'oh-hoah-oh' bits have done serious slayage to my soul! As for the newly-premiered '30 Days' video, that I ain't liking. I'm so disappointed! How could they have given such a great song a poor and cheap video? It's just Frankie, Mollie, Una, Vanessa and Rochelle looking cute, acting fun and lighthearted in a random diner. That's all! I was expecting something more in line with the lyrics, visually-engaging and hopefully a little choreo for the last chorus! SMH. '30 Days' is officially released in the UK on May 14th. Should it go to #1? After seeing the video, I'll reserve my opinion. #Grrr.
