Stream: Kid Ink - 'My Own Lane' [Album]
Today on January 7th, RCA Records' Kid Ink released his first major label album 'My Own Lane' in stores and on iTunes. To back up the release of the long-awaited project, Kid Ink has teamed up with Spotify to offer up fans a stream of the 13-track standard edition. 'My Own Lane' contains guest features from Elle Varner, King Los, Maejor Ali, Chris Brown, Pusha T, Tyga, August Alsina, and Machine Gun Kelly. Kid Ink also managed to nab production from DJ Mustard, Sak Pase, Danja, DZL, and others.
For those wondering the meaning behind 'My Own Lane', Kid Ink recently broke down the title with Hot 93.7. He told them “My Own Lane is my struggle, because I came from a producer background and I listen to all kinds of different music and don’t really limit myself to what I do. It’s hard for people to categorize me in a specific lane, and be like ‘He’s this kind of artist."
The standard edition of Kid Ink's 'My Own Lane' LP is available for purchase on iTunes. Those who buy the deluxe version at Best Buy will receive 5 extra records and additional features from ASAP Ferg, Meek Mill, French Montana, and Wale.
