Review
So Shakira did good. She sang live over the backing track as it was expected. She looked great in that red dress, and she certainly OWNED the moment. Having said this, the Brazilian organizers are so cheap. The opening ceremony was cheap and I had hopes the closing ceremony would be see improvement but NAH. It was so cheap too! What was their budget? A thousand bucks? The stage was cheap, Carlinhos Brown needed to be GONE after his intro, and DEAD at the clueless back-up dancers dancing to 'La La La'. It was all a bit embarrassing. But Shakira still pulled something decent. She owned that little cheap stage. This was of course better than the Pitbull and J.Lo performance!
