The nominations for the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards (aka. the VMAs) were announced today at 10am (EST) on the Beats 1 “Charts” show. With this, MTV jumps on board the bandwagon of giving exclusives through the Apple Music online radio; or perhaps it was Apple who paid MTV to give them this ‘nominees unveil’ exclusive to bring more attention to their Apple Music service? The 2015 VMAs, to be hosted by “We Can’t Stop” star Miley Cyrus, will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 30th (at 9pm ET if you want to start organizing your day).
