OneRepublic Channel Coldplay On New Song “Future Looks Good”: Listen Now!

The Ryan Tedder-led band put their upcoming fourth studio album “Oh My My” on pre-order on iTunes today (Sept. 7) and also released a new track called “Future Looks Good” - which fans can get as an instant grat if they do their part: make a pre-order now.
“Future Looks Good”, co-written by Ryan and Brent Kutzle, is a romantic song that starts with an acoustic vibe, just a guitar playing, and then progressively a EDM melody will creep in. Coldplay-reminiscing much, right? Either way, I like!
“You see I had this crazy dream last night / This man, he talked to me / He said that you are the future / And the future looks good”, sings R. Tedder in the OneRepublic “Oh My My” cut. He’s talking about his love future with some girl, right? Or am I reading the lyrics wrong?
The EDM explosion in the last seconds is LIFE-giving, y’all. Praise the Lord for that Coldplay influence. Praise the Lord!
