Michael Jackson - "A Place With No Name" [Music Video]

Sony needs to stop playing with the dead. Does Michael Jackson's estate honestly approve all of this? The late King of Pop just became the first artist in history to have a music video exclusively premiered on Twitter. The micro-blogging site sent out tweets to all Michael Jackson followers late last night - August 13th - with a link directing to an embedded player to watch the music video for “A Place With No Name”. This is the newest single from Jackson’s second posthumous album “Xscape”.

Michael Jackson originally recorded “A Place With No Name” with producer Elliott Straite at the Record Plant Recording Studio back in 1998. “The lyrics talk about a man whose car breaks down in the middle of the desert. A mysterious woman then appears from the mist and guides the lucky man to where a place 'no one is in fear' and 'no one has pain’”.

The cheap music video shows a man and woman meeting in a desert and dancing to the beat on the sand. They then drive to the nearest beach in a Jeep where they will dance more and have fun in the water. Amid their loving scenes, we get to see old footage of Michael Jackson showing off a few of his trademark moves against a white wall and also in a desert-looking area. The whole “A Place With No Name” clip is black and white.
