Let's hold our hands, make a circle and thank the Gods of Pop for this 'leak'.

We've waited thirteen years for this. Is it a dream? No, it's real life! Listen below to the high-quality, full demo of Avril Lavigne's "Breakaway", which was later recorded by Kelly Clarkson for his 2004 album, and made a US Top 10 smash hit.

Doubting it is Avril? Just go listen to 'Why' and 'Falling Down'. And for further proof check out the video below where history of 'Breakaway' is explained (and a snippet of this very 'demo' can be heard'). Avril wrote this in 2001, it was labeled 'unsuitable' for Avril's debut 'Let It Go' (2002), 'Breakaway' was sent to the vault, later picked up and dropped by Canadian singer Samantha Moore (watch footage below), and ultimately heard and finally properly recorded by Kween Kelegend Clarkson which made it the hit we now.

Really cool to listen to Avril's voice before it developed and received training.

For more info about this demo, re-listen Avril's interview at 'Howard Stern' radio show last year. She talks the 'really rough' demo of 'Breakaway'.

Thoughts?
