Keisha Buchanan - Under Control (New Song!)
Her music career did not end when she was abruptly fired from The Sugababes back in 2009, in fact, Keisha Buchanan is looking to make a comback as a solist - The Londoner - who is still signed to Island Records/Universal Music (UK) - did not enter into depression after that painful moment of her life in 2009 when she had to leave The Sugababaes, the girl group where she was a founding member of and currently misses all of its original line-up...and me don't understand why they keep that name!.
Anyhow, actually Keisha has been working ever since on her debut solo LP. She's been to states to record new songs, as well as working at London studios. Her album doesn't have a 'release date' yet but I guess late 20111 - early 2012 will be the time period for that. Too long of wait? Well, luckily today, a new song from Keisha from those latest recording sessions has leaked online. The clearly unfinished/unmastered song is titled "Under Control" and me likes it! To be just a demo it sounds super promising. It's poppy, catchy, and I love the whole vibe going on. The beat needs lots of improvement though. The little breakdown after the first chorus sounds tacky. The only real critique would be that "Under Control" feels very Sugababesy and I thought Keisha was going to go for a more original-sounding record.
