'Power Trip' is currently sitting at the 48th spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and J. Cole looks to keep the momentum going strong with the release of the official visual. The Miguel-assisted video was shot over in Cole's hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina and is by directed by Mike Piscitelli and Nabil. Wasn't expecting such a dark theme for this type of track.
Along with the visual for 'Power Trip', J. Cole also announced yesterday that he is planning to drop his sophomore album 'Born Sinner' on June 25th. Pretty confident that the Roc Nation signee will be sticking with this date, considering he already delayed the project once before. Expect another single from 'Born Sinner' to drop before it's release on June 25th.
In Miguel related news, he is planning on dropping a new EP this summer and also has recently worked with Kendrick Lamar for the remix of 'How Many Drinks'. 'Power Trip' is produced by Cole himself. Purchase the track on Itunes and watch the visual above.
