Introducing... Ariana and the Rose! Premieres Music Video for New Single "In Your Bed"
Ariana DiLorenzo is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter from New York. She, using the artist name of Ariana and the Rose, already has two released singles in her career ("When You Know, You Know" and "Heartbeat"), which are really good, but it all indicates it will be her third, titled "In Your Bed", the one that will become Ariana's international breakthrough song. The song is a indie-pop record with synth elements. It definitely has some kind of Lorde vibe. Unlike Lorde, though, Ariana has no problem exploiting her sensuality.
"In Your Bed" has a breezy production, but it's the lyrics that steal the spotlight for me in the song. "Just because I’m in your bed doesn’t mean I’m yours....", coos Ariana in the chorus of her new single. Its music video premiered last week on VEVO, and it shows Ariana and the Rose paying tribute to Miley Cyrus' under-the-sheets "Adore You" video...except for Ariana's video is in color and she doesn't touch herself. Classy.
Ariana and the Rose will release "In Your Bed", "Heartbeat", alongside two original tracks, in an EP called "Head vs Heart", first, on iTunes UK on March 23rd.
