Iggy Azalea & Adam Lambert Star In New “X Factor Australia” Commercials: Watch
A new season of “The X Factor” will commence in Australia on the Seven network once the Olympics conclude, and you already know who the new judges are, right? Iggy Azalea and Adam Lambert!
Following the poor reception of her latest single “Team” and the constant delays of the release of her second studio album “Digital Distortion” due to personal and label reasons, Iggy Azalea took the decision to go on an adventure to give her troubled life and career a well-deserved relaxing time. So she said yes to the offer of being the new judge of “The X Factor Australia” for its eighth season. That way Iggy gets to spend some time at home too.
Seven premiered over the weekend new commercials to promote Season 8. These new commercials see formal introductions to the new judges individually.
In Iggy’s commercial, the Australia rapper is presented as a “worldwide superstar”. Iggy also takes time to quickly tell viewers in her 40-second TV ad about her tough life as a teenager and her decision of traveling to the USA to make her dream of a music career come true.
In Adam Lambert’s commercial, the off-camera narrator says Adam’s hits have “swept the world”. Adam also gets to personally tell viewers how amazing it’s been to replace Freddie Mercury in Queen.
