Free Download: Lil' Kim - "Lil Kim Season" [Mixtape]
Two years after releasing her last-to-date mixtape “Hard Core 2K14”, raptress Lil’ Kim dropped last night, March 28th, 2016, the follow-up; her new mixtape “Lil’ Kim Season”.
The new project from the one and only Queen Bee contains 10 songs in total of which almost half of them are covers or remixes (or as Lil’ Kim refers to them: “Beemixes”) of other songs (Drake’s “Summer Sixteen”, Desiigner’s “Panda”, or Rihanna’s “Work”, to name a few). The rest are all-original Lil’ Kim songs.
Will the time when Lil’ Kim releases a new “studio album” come at last, though? Maybe! Last year she said in an interview that she was negotiating a new deal with a major label. So fingers crossed the deal was closed in secret or will be soon. Can you imagine what being back in a major label would mean for Lil’ Kim? Working with the hottest producers that is! I would love to see Kim getting playing on the radio again. She’s still got it.
