Eminem & Beyoncé Address Insecurities In New Single "Walk On Water": Stream

eminem walk on water

Eminem premiered his new single “Walk On Water” today on digital platforms. The Detroit rapper revealed the title of the song earlier this week but what he didn’t reveal was that the lead single of his forthcoming ninth studio album “Revival” was a collaboration with a mega star, whose fame surpasses that of Eminem himself. We’re talking about queen BEYONCÉ. Beyoncé sings the choruses on Eminem’s “Walk On Water”, which is a rap ballad, yes, a rap ballad, and possibly Eminem’s least commercial first single ever. But first, have your first stream:

I walk on water / But I ain’t no Jesus / I walk on water / But only when it freezes / Cause I’m only human, just like you / Making my mistakes, oh if you only knew”, sings Beyoncé on the chorus of Eminem’s new single “Walk On Water”, which is a really laid-back rap song with a nostalgic vibe and deep, retrospective lyrics. The song talks about reflecting on one’s insecurities, and in the case of Eminem about the insecurities he’s experienced throughout his super successful career. An example? When sometimes you think you don’t live up to people’s expectations.

“Walk On Water” was written by Eminem, Beyoncé and Skylar Grey.

Eminem’s upcoming album “Revival” is out November 17.
