Demi Lovato 'Demi' Complete Album Lyrics

artwork fourth album demi lovato whiteout

Two years after "Unbroken" - her first post-rebab album, pop singer Demi Lovato readies her fourth studio album, which she has simply named "Demi", for global release on May 14, 2013 via Hollywood Records (Universal). The set is composed of 13 original tracks. Seven out of the thirteen songs on the new album were co-written by Demi, so there you see the 'control' she's had this time on the project. For "Demi", the Texas singer has been helped by talented writers and producers such as; The Suspex, Ryan Tedder, Carl Falk, Rami Yacoub, Savan Kotecha, The Monsters and the Strangerz, among many others.

Having heard the album in full, I can say it's miles better than "Unbroken". That 2011 album sounded way too experimental (urban Demi ain't the thing), and 'rushed' in my humble opinion. "Demi", in the contrary, sounds more cohesive (rocky, a little dance, but all pop, pop, and pop!), and each track is solid. She shows off her vocal maturity too. "Demi" features uptempos, ballads, and overrall a lot of pretty cool, 'original' songs in both songwriting, and melodies...and vocal control, of course. Demi Lovato at her best without a doubt! Only one duet in here, that with Cher Lloyd.
