Awkward: Demi Lovato Makes Quick, One-Minute Appearance on 'American Idol'
What was this? Demi Lovato appeared last night (April 16th) on 'American Idol' but only for a minute, literally. Watcht the super awkward, super quick moment below.
Ryan Seacrest said he had a dear friend backstage who wanted to come out to say hi. The huge screen in the back opened in two and "Skyscraper" singer Demi Lovato walked on stage donning an all-black look.
Demi told Ryan about recently finishing the US leg of her 'Neon Lights Tour' and that this Saturday she would be heading to Latin America to continue there with the live shows. Before the 'Idol' host said goodbye to Demi, he asked her about rumors of an upcoming announcement of new US dates...to which a smiling Demi responded 'I don't know...' which sounded more like a 'maybe...just hold tight'.
Demi the waved farewell and proceeded to contestants' couch where she met them all including the now-mentor Randy Jackson...'hey, dawg!' shouted Demi to him.
Again, what was this? A one-minute appearance to promote the tour??
