American Idol Cast Visit 'Jay Leno'
The new faces in the American Idol judging panel for the upcoming season, diva Jennifer Lopez and legendary rocker Steven Tyler (of Aerosmith), alongside Randy Jackson and Ryan Seacrest paid a visit to Jay Leno on his "The Tonight Show" this last Monday. The four celebrities and American Idol cast for 2011 stopped by the succesful NBC show to plug season 10 of the singing competiton. I had the feeling American Idol was destined to die after Paula Abdul, and now Simon Cowell are gone to pursue other projects. But the guys from Fox have really put a lot of effort to revamp the series for its new season. Jennifer and Steven seem a great a choice to me as new judges, I think they'll bring a fresh air to the show, and also the Fox executives have announced a few new changes to the series, like a new in-house mentoring and living (yep all contestants, Top 12 I assume, will live in a same house kinda like in The X Factor) plus there'll be renowned producers like Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, Timbaland and Alex da Kid working alongside the contestants, meaning sometimes they will sing *original* songs. Summing up, far from being another boring American Idol season, like the last ones have been, this upcoming season looks really exciting! American Idol 10 premieres on January 19th.
